 Yes, it’s true that the way to lose weight is by creating a calorie deficit but there’s much more to being healthy and promoting sustainable weight loss than simply counting calories.
This is where LYS comes in, we do all the counts for you and these include your macro nutrition targets based specifically on you, by the information you provide us with.
Almost every packaged food today features calorie counts in its label. However, most of these counts are inaccurate due to being based on a system of averages that ignores the complexity of digestion and the individuals BMI and BMR, don’t know the difference between a BMI to a BMR don’t worry, we carefully work it all out for you.
An advantage of counting macro nutrients  is that it ensures your essential nutrients are incorporated into your diet. This is the direct opposite of calorie counting which takes no account of nutrients. Nutrients are the fuel for the body. At LYS we believe in clean eating, the purer the fuel we put into our bodies the better you will feel and the better the engine (your body) will run. It doesn’t take a degree in nutrition to work that out (but we have one anyway) Many of our clients are past users of other diet programs and they tell us how they would eat to their calorie targets every day including fast-food, highly processed food and even sugary treats. Guess what, they felt awful, their energy would be low, so exercising was a struggle, everything from their skin to their sleep pattern would be agitated. Therefore you will find none of that ethos here.
Another massive benefit of energising your macro nutrient is  If your goal is to have a poppin six pack and sculpted shoulders, then counting macros helps to prevent muscle loss and helps assure you that the weight you’re shedding is unwanted fat not much needed muscle.

There is no question that a low-carb or lower-carb diet makes it easier to lose weight however a severely strict low-carb diet can backfire and result in a long-term relationship with low-carb eating, bouncing back and forth between trying to avoid all carbs and wind-up eating all the carbs four days later. This can leave you b disempowered with food and your diet as the cravings take over!
That yo-yo relationship with food is exactly what our plan is designed to overcome, we have created a lifestyle you will love not a diet you will dread! We are not saying the first week wont be challenge, our past members have uncovered lots of behavioural eating habits in those first 10 days. One particular piece of research we found interesting was a study* that was conducted on carbs found in their 25-year follow-up of participants that diets both low and high in carbohydrates were linked with an increase in mortality, while moderate consumers of carbohydrates had the lowest risk of mortality.
It’s not that all carbs are bad but the high processed starchy ones are and that’s why our plans are abundant in vegetables, fruits( the lower sugar kind) and nuts but no processed foods. I am proud to say I understand all the ingredients on the plans there are no E numbers or hidden nasties!
