Yin Yoga Instructor


Hi I’m Cath a Yoga and Mindfulness teacher. I started practising yoga 21 years ago and I knew instantly from my first class that I wanted to teach this amazing practice. It was transformational for me at a time where I needed clarity and direction. It felt like my calling. After 10 years of practising I finally followed my dream and trained to become a teacher with the BWY gaining my 500hrs Diploma.

Since then I have ventured into different styles and methods Qualifying as a Level 1 Relax and Renew Restorative Yoga Teacher and in the beautiful practices of Embodied Yin and Yoga Nidra.

My modern approach to yoga re-educates the nervous system by mapping healthy movement pathways. Promoting mobility over flexibility, function over form, building strength and developing balance to bring the body into more harmony. It’s trauma Informed, injury sensitive and accessible for all. Re-connecting with the body in an intelligent and somatic way to notice how we are, how we feel and how to respond to ourselves most appropriately.
